The Valorant Champions 2023 took place in Los Angeles.
Valorant Champions is the biggest event of the year, and Riot Games is planning to offer players a range of in-game cosmetic items that can be earned by watching the tournament online and correctly predicting which participants will take their deserved place in the tournament bracket.
Riot has announced that in the Valorant Champions 2024 release, there will be two cosmetic items for players who watch the event, as well as a pass to the event. The rewards for completing the event pass are not yet disclosed.
The beta version of Pick’Ems will also offer players rewards based on how accurately they select the teams that will progress further in the tournament.
Here’s what will be offered in the form of Twitch Drops and new Pick’Ems rewards.
How to claim Twitch prizes
Claiming prizes for Champions 2024 is simple. Just follow the steps below:
- Go to Valorant’s official channels on Twitch or YouTube. Official streams will have the «Drops Enabled» option throughout the schedule. Look for streams with this option.
- Connect your Valorant account to the platform.
- Watch the live streams for the required amount of time.
Players can earn two cosmetic items throughout the event by watching the action for 30 minutes or an hour. The specific period during which these cosmetic items are available, and what they represent, are listed below.
Cosmetic items that Valorant players can obtain by watching Champions 2024.
- Spray/ Tacticpenguin: Watch the game from August 1 to August 24.
- Player card/Jett Hanbok: Watch the game on August 25
Pick ‘Ems Rewards
This year, Valorant will introduce players to the official Pick ‘Em feature for the first time. The feature is available through the in-game client and the Valorant esports website, and Riot will reward those who make the best predictions.
Players will need to make their selection twice, for both stages of the event. Group stage picks can be submitted until August 1, and playoff picks can be submitted from August 11 to August 14.
Players will also receive a spray just for participating. The specific rewards and how accurate your bracket should be are listed below.
This is the first time Riot has integrated Pick’Ems into the Valorant client.
- Crystal Ball Spray: Participation
- Gonggi Buddy: Land in top 50% of Pick’Ems
- Pick’Em Master Gonggi Buddy: Land in top 20% of Pick’Ems
- 100% Title: Perfect Pick’Em Picks
The rewards depend on the accuracy of each player’s results and will be distributed the day after the event ends.
