Haymaker boasts high rate of fire and solid close-range damage. We have the perfect loadout for you to take advantage of these strengths and dominate the lobbies in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.
MW3 introduced three new shotguns, Lockwood 680, Haymaker, and Riveter, each of which has unique strengths and weaknesses. Lockwood delivers the best damage in its class but suffers from low fire rate as it is pump-action.
On the other hand, the fully automatic nature of Riveter allows you to deliver rounds in seconds, but its recoil and damage leave something to be desired. Haymaker falls somewhere in between these two types of weapons, with a solid damage profile and corresponding fire rate.
If you want to add this weapon to your arsenal, we have the best Haymaker loadout for Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.
Best Haymaker Warzone Loadout
- Muzzle: Crown Breaker Choke
- Barrel: Emperor Long Barrel
- Laser: STOVL Dr Laser Box
- Magazine: 20-Round Drum
- Ammunition: Maglift Conversion Kit
The foundation of this Haymaker loadout is the Maglift Conversion Kit, which tightens the shotgun spread and gives you a huge bonus to using Tac Stance and Hipfire. It turns it into something more accurate but still incredibly powerful.
You will need to continue tightening the bullet spread of the shotgun with the barrel. In this case, the Crown Breaker Choke is an outstanding choice as it slightly increases your damage range while also increasing your hip-fire spread and reducing Tac Stance spread. Additionally, the Emperor Long Barrel also increases shooting range and bullet velocity, meaning greater distance and faster bullet arrival.
A laser is always a good choice for a weapon that excels in close combat, and the STOVL Dr Laser Box is a great choice. It enhances recoil control when firing from the hip in close range battles and helps you distribute hip-fire while reducing stance spread.
Completing the Haymaker setup, a 20-round Magazine will give you more shots per magazine, and this can save your life. The standard eight-round magazine just doesn’t have enough to be viable.
Haymaker Warzone Loadout: Perks and Equipment
- Perk 1: Double Time
- Increases the duration of tactical sprint
- Perk 2: Quick Hands
- Perk 3: Fast Repair
- Initiates health regeneration upon killing an enemy player or plate insertion.
- Perk 4: Resolute
- Grants speed boost on enemy hit.
- Lethal: Throwing Knife
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
When using a shotgun, the first perk choice should always be Double Time as it will increase the duration of your tactical sprint and reduce refresh time, allowing you to move faster around the map. Quick Hands should be your secondary perk as it significantly speeds up reloads during a firefight.
Fast Repair is one of the best perks in the game as you get instant health regeneration upon downing an enemy or in the case of plate insertions. Finally, the brand new Resolute perk should complement your class as it provides a brief speed boost on getting hit by enemy fire. It also gives you a brief dead silence period, meaning you can hear almost silent footsteps during combat.
As for slots for your equipment, the Throwing Knife is great for quick enemy elimination, and the Smoke Grenade is a useful tool to provide cover when you need it.
How to Unlock Haymaker in Warzone
You can unlock the Haymaker shotgun by reaching level 39 in the MW3 multiplayer mode or by extracting it in MWZ.
Best Haymaker Alternative in Warzone
Although it shoots slower, Lockwood 680 is a good choice to replace the Haymaker as it deals significant damage, though its lower fire rate is a major drawback.
Shotguns are always a great choice in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, but there are plenty of other options to explore. So, check out MCW, Superi 46, and FJX Horus.
