Metal Accelerants are important resources in The First Descendant that help you create various materials for your character. Here’s how you can easily obtain and farm them to keep enough for future reserves.
First Descendant is a free shooter game, but it requires a lot of effort if you want to get items without spending real money. Descendants and weapons are locked behind several research materials that also require different resources for crafting.
Metal Accelerants are one of them, and they are used in creating Descendants. If you’re interested in quickly obtaining these crafting materials, we have all you need to know.
How to Easily Farm Metal Accelerants
Metal Accelerants can be found in ammo and resource crates in the Sterile Land. They are very easy to find and scattered throughout the Ingris region.
Since metal accelerants have standard rarity, you can find them in abundance regardless of the difficulty level you play in The First Descendant.
They are constantly replenished, so if you decide to move and return to the first box or crate you looted, you will find it filled with metal accelerants again.
Sometimes ammo crates in Albion will give you Superfluid which is another resource of standard rarity.
Using Metal Accelerants
Metal accelerants are used to create Enhanced Cells, Spiral Catalysts, and Stabilizers. These are essential parts when you want to create new Descendants in the game.
After choosing the starting descendant, the campaign will ask you to create Banni. Metal Accelerants will come in handy in this process.
Now, when you are trying to unlock your third descendant, let’s say you chose Velby, you will need to create a Spiral Catalyst that costs 270x Metal Accelerants. To create Descendants and weapons, start by talking to Anais in Albion.
