EA Sports has created a new feature called RUSH, which allows a squad of 4 players to compete against another team in online matches.
It will be integrated into existing modes in EA FC 25 as a way to update the game using the progression system that players know and love. But what is RUSH? Here is everything we know.
What is RUSH in EA FC 25?
RUSH is an online feature created specifically for friends, and according to senior producer FC Sam Rivera, it is «the most exciting and engaging social experience they’ve ever created.»
It is built on the mechanics, depth, and balance of the regular 11v11 gameplay, but with some changes that allow players to spend more time with the ball. This makes communication and every move and decision crucial to the outcome of the match.

There are 4 modes including RUSH:
- Ultimate Team
- Clubs
- Pass the Ball
- Manager Career
In the Career Mode, users will take control of a youth academy to help it develop throughout the season with special 5v5 tournaments.
The only mode that has been confirmed to be cut — is VOLTA as RUSH is set to replace it.
RUSH Special Features
Two main features are designed exclusively for RUSH: new stadium and new commentator.
The stadium has been developed in collaboration with Nike and its shape resembles the brand’s Mercurial boots and the iconic Swoosh. The arena has a 23.7-degree angle, the same as the Nike Swoosh, and plenty of green additions throughout the perimeter.
As for the commentator, the legendary Fernando Palomo from El Salvador will be part of the RUSH matches, accompanying players with his intense and engaging narrative style.
