The Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 update is just around the corner, so here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming banner characters and when you can expect to see them in the game.
Leaks for Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 have surfaced online, giving players an early look at several upcoming characters. The main heroes of this update are two new S-rank units: Qingyi and Jane Doe.
Also making their debut is Set Lowell, an A-rank Defense character, and some familiar faces are returning. So if you want to prepare your Polychromes for the upcoming banner or just want to know what to expect when update 1.1 is released, here’s everything you need to know.
Is there a Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 release date?
No, HoYoverse has not disclosed any details about the release date of version 1.1..
However, given how HoYoverse has released updates in the past, it can be confidently assumed that update 1.1 will come out on August 14 and last until September 4.
This means Phase 2 will be released on September 4 and last until September 25. As always, this is just an assumption, and HoYoverse may make adjustments, so we will update this section when official details are revealed.

Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 will include three new characters.
According to a well-known insider of Zenless Zone Zero, version 1.1 banners will feature the following characters:
First Stage – August 14 – September 4
- Qingyi (S-rank)
- Enbi (A-rank)
- Billy (A-rank)
Second Stage – September 4 – September 25
- Jane Doe (S-rank)
- Set Lowell (A-rank)
- Korin (A-rank)

Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 Characters
Qingyi and Jane Doe are two new S-rank characters debuting in the ZZZ 1.1 update. Both characters are members of the Criminal Investigation Response Special Group — a faction in New Eridu.
While developers have not yet disclosed their element, insiders have discovered that Qingyi is an electric S-rank character who uses her extendable nunchucks to deliver shocking surprises to her enemies.
Meanwhile, Jane Doe is a Physical Anomaly character who uses lightning-fast kicks and tail attacks to crush those who stand in her way.
Set Lowell is an Electric Defense character who protects his team with deadly parries, while his electricity-charged attacks deal damage to nearby enemies.
