Elden Ring: Shadow of Erdtree introduces various new NPCs that you will encounter in your journey through the Shadowlands. Here are all the NPCs we met during our travels in the dark lands expansion.
NPCs play a crucial role in Elden Ring, as well as in other Souls games. While some NPCs may have minor quests, others are much more important to the story, and interacting with them can ultimately lead to receiving exclusive rewards and even unlocking certain endings.
For example, in the base game, Rodrique’s quest opens up the opportunity to level up the Spirit Ash, while the Early questline not only unlocks a new ending but also completely changes your adventure.
Some players make the mistake of killing NPCs instead of completing their story. This is a very bad idea in both Elden Ring and Shadow of Erdtree.
