Best Lost Ark Classes for PvE
Paladin — the best class for PvE.
Before delving into the tier list, we want to emphasize that since the whole story is PvE and you are stuck with whichever class you choose, it’s best to choose a character that fits your individual play style. After all, there’s nothing worse than forcing yourself through lessons you hate.
However, for PvE-oriented players, we recommend the following classes for this mode:
World bosses, dungeons, raids, and quests — all of these are a huge part of the game’s PvE content, so an ideal option would be a versatile class capable of handling anything.
At the top, at S-tier, is the Paladin. This excellent support class shines, ensuring that your group’s main DPS can deal as much damage as possible in PvE. Their skills can provide consistent damage buffs for the whole group, as well as reduce damage with shields and healing abilities.
Alongside the Paladin in S-tier are Artillerist and Artist. Artillerists have high explosive damage and act as tanks, so they can withstand a lot of hits. Artists are another support class that can provide single target healing and solid damage buffs to the group.
Theoretically, you can fight in PvE with any class, however, we would not recommend Engineer and Sniper. Playing as an Engineer is fun, but since it is the most vulnerable class in the game, it can easily be defeated, so especially if you are a beginner, we do not recommend starting PvE with it.
Snipers have enough firepower to easily go through the main storyline, but their lack of AoE can hinder the completion of end-game content.

When it comes to PvP, many may be puzzled seeing Paladin at the top of the list. However, it is essential for every 3v3 composition, rapidly rising in the tier list, but it is also incredibly good in 1v1 fights due to the balance between its offensive and healing abilities.
Next to him in the S class stands Deathblade, whose swift combat and killer-style damage leave her enemies in tatters as she proudly marches into the sunset without a scratch. Rounding out the top three PvP classes is Gunslinger. They may have low defense, but they have fantastic combos that deal great damage and great mobility that is perfect for PvP battles.
As for classes to avoid in PvP, We would not recommend Reaper and Scrapper. Reaper excels in 1v1 battles, but it is one of the most complex classes in Lost Ark, with extremely low defense.
Scrappers have a high health pool and good mobility, but their attack range is very limited, and they are limited in terms of self-defense, which can make them an easy target in PvP scenarios if you are not careful.
